Engaging our Youth
To provide opportunities through our activities for our young citizens to enhance their skills and values. Activities in education, sports and the arts are all vehicles through which our youth will learn about truth,integrity and perseverence.
- EDUCATION: Program to prepare students to face challenges in this competitive era in pursuit of careers. No Kayastha child should be left behind.Periodic seminars are held on interesting topics to prepare for their future careers.
- SCHOLARSHIPS: Scholarships are awarded every year to deserving students to encourage them to pursue path of learning and excel in studies.
- SPORTS: Various sport activities are held like cricket matches, badminton, etc to instill a competitive spirit amongst the youngsters.
The HMKEWS is focussed in pursuing Social, Cultural, Religious, Youth, Women and Senior activities.

2.Cultural and Religious Activities
In keeping with the rites and rituals of Kayasthas, various religious and cultural activities are conducted like Balaji Kalyanam, Hanuman Chalisa recital, etc. This helps in bringing the communities elders and to disseminate their knowledge and practice, about Kayastha rituals to the younger generation.

3. Seniors in Motion
Support Seniors in their efforts to stay healthy and active during their retirement years. Opportunities to volunteer, build friendships and socialize. Seminars for seniors are also conducted in managing finances and medical issues. Light sport activities are also conducted for fun and keeping in shape.

4. Women's Forum
- The Women's forum was started with the objective of enhancing the Kayastha Women's image, by dialogue, forums, education, arts and fashion for women. It is also designed to promote networking and cooperation for mutual support and empowerment. Seminars are conducted on pertinent and timely issues.
- Widow's Aid Fund: Giving hope to the Widows- when a person loses a spouse, it is a time of extreme vulnerability for widow and it becomes imperative to have access to resources. HMKEWS has established a widow fund to help them during the time of need.

5. Health Camp
A free health camp is organized to provide a basic health checkup especially for the elderly and those who do not have health coverage. Free Blood Pressure checkup, A1C test for diabetes and others are offered.
